Delete your WallMind account

Last updated 5 August 2026

You can delete your WallMind account and everything stored under it from inside the app, at any time. Here is exactly how, and exactly what happens.

Export your data

Deletion cannot be undone, so take a copy first if you want one.

You can export at any time from Settings → Account → Export my data. You get a single file containing every wall, note and person.

You do not have to back out if you have already started deleting: the deletion flow itself offers Export and delete, which takes the export first and then deletes.

How to delete your account

  1. Open WallMind
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Tap Delete account
  4. A first dialog — “Before you delete your account” — shows a count of what will go, for example “2 walls, 26 notes”. Tap Continue to delete, or Keep my account to stop.
  5. A second dialog — “Delete account?” — asks how you want to finish:
    • Export and delete — takes the export first, then deletes. Recommended.
    • Delete without export — deletes immediately.
    • Cancel — backs out and changes nothing.

Once you confirm, deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period, no grace period and no way to undo it.

What gets deleted

What is not deleted

Photos already copied to your Google Drive. If you switched on Drive backup, those images sit in the WallMind folder in your own Google Drive, under your own Google account. WallMind holds the drive.file permission, which covers only files it created — but it cannot reach into your Drive once your account is gone, and removing them for you is not something the app is able, or entitled, to do.

To remove them, open Google Drive and delete the WallMind folder yourself. You can also review or revoke WallMind's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Walls that belong to someone else. If you were a member of a wall you did not create, deleting your account removes your membership. The wall itself, and its notes, stay with its owner — that data is theirs, not ours to delete.

If you can no longer open the app

If you have already uninstalled WallMind and cannot use the in-app route, email privacy@jdgxlabs.in from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my WallMind account.

We ask you to write from the address you signed in with because that is how we know the request is yours. We will not ask you for a password, and you should never send us one.
